Dear Colleagues, Greetings from the first issue of AYNA in the new year! As we leave behind 2024, a year filled with numerous achievements, we step into the new year, marking the 25th anniversary of our journey. I believe 2025 will be a year where teamwork and collaboration lead to greater productivity and efficiency, while also working hard and enjoying ourselves. The past year was marked by significant operational advancements and intensive efforts across various areas, yielding positive results. In 2024, we once again earned the Great Place to Work (GPTW) certification, maintaining our position among the best employers, thanks to your evaluations. Furthermore, thanks to your votes and comments, we advanced our success by being listed among the GPTW “Best Workplaces in Retail” and we have attached another star to our collar. We were awarded the GreenStar certificate, which we received in İstanbul in 2023, by extending it to all our operations in Türkiye this year. As a first in our sector, we were proud to achieve the Equal Women at Work certification. Our Tip Story Micro Learning project, designed to enhance product knowledge for our colleagues in Old Bazaar stores, earned us two bronze and one silver award on prestigious international platforms such as the Stevie Awards and Brandon Hall. These accolades are tangible evidence of our commitment to training and development. I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely congratulate and thanks to all my colleagues who contributed to this project. As we look forward to 2025, we are again excited to successfully achieve our goals. However, it is clear that the global economic and geopolitical landscape poses challenges. Despite this, the dynamic nature of our industry and the resilient, flexible structure of our company position ATU to withstand global crises effectively. We will continue to grow and I believe it will be a year in which we will further strengthen our existing assets. This year, inclusion and diversity will remain the key pillars of our human resources policies. Supporting our employees’ development and maintaining our strong approach to talent management will remain our top priorities. You know us, we always think about what we can do better, and this year we will think and do it together to do better. Our new operation, which will start at Antalya Airport, has energised us very well. With the addition of Antalya to our operational network, we will expand our presence in duty-free retailing to a broader audience in Türkiye. This new operation point will contribute to our growth journey not only in Türkiye but also on an international scale. I wish 2025 to be a year full of health firstly, togetherness, peace, learning and discovery, innovation and success for all of us. I am infinitely happy and proud to share this journey with you.
