We won the ‘Sustainable Training Development Incentive Award’ with ATU Style Sales Training
Within the scope of the Sustainable Education Development Awards organised by the Sustainable Education Development and Excellence Association (SEGM) for the second time this year, we were deemed worthy of the Sustainable Education Development Incentive Award with our ATU Style Sales Training project. The award, which was determined by SEGM through jury evaluations in the Sustainable Training category under the main theme of Business Sustainability in Companies, was presented to our Management Systems and Sustainability Director Murat Şen, at a ceremony held at Beykoz University. We congratulate all our colleagues who contributed to this success.

‘Our Youth is Our Future Fund’, which we established in cooperation with TEV, is in its second year!
This year, we continue our contributions for the education of university students affected by the earthquake with the Our Youth is Our Future Scholarship Fund project, which we have implemented in cooperation with the Turkish Education Foundation (TEV). Our colleagues working at Istanbul Airport celebrated the New Year
On 31 December, cake and treats were distributed in the offices for all ATU employees working in the Boutiques and Old Bazaar at Istanbul Airport. Employees celebrated the arrival of 2025 together at the airport.

Izmir organised a ‘Corridor Party’ for the New Year
Our Izmir operation came together at the New Year celebration. At the event, which took place at ATU offices, bingo was played and gifts were distributed to the winners. New Year’s cake was cut at the end of the event.

New Year parties in Gazipaşa and Bodrum operations
Gazipaşa and Bodrum operations also celebrated the New Year with colorful events. ATU executives and teams attended the events, where employees had a pleasant time with music. At the night organized by the Gazipaşa team at Porto Amore Hotel, certificates of appreciation were presented to the employees who will start working in the Antalya operation. In the night organized by the Bodrum team, gifts were given to the first and second place winners among the employees who had fun with bingo. New Year cakes were cut at the end of both events.

Our Gazipaşa operation took its place at the Career Summit
Our Gazipaşa operation came together with students at the career days organized at Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University Vocational High School. Gazipaşa Operations Manager Vera Olontseva and Gazipaşa team; Administrative Affairs Specialist Nazmiye Nalan Kosif, Administrative Affairs Assist.Specialist Deniz Sönmez, Deputy Team Leader Merve Yüksel, Sales and Payment Consultant Metehan Yalçın participated in the session held within the scope of career days. Vera Olontseva shared information about the sector and our operations and they answered students’ questions about job opportunities for new graduates at ATU.

Riga celebrated the arrival of 2025 with a New Year's party
Our Riga operation celebrated 2025 and the coming new season with a Christmas party. At the party, which was also attended by ATU executives, employees had fun with a DJ and enjoyed the colorful competitions. At the end of the night, a new year cake was cut.

We attended the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Seminar and Sustainability Panel as a guest
At the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Seminar-Sustainability panel organized by Bahçelievler Doğa College T-MBA Leadership Academy Department, ATU Management Systems and Sustainability Director Murat Şen came together with academics and students. In the panel, Şen conveyed ATU’s sustainability approach and sustainable business model in projects that produce social benefits to T-MBA Leadership Academy students, and also provided information on environmental sustainability, green entrepreneurship and environmentally friendly products.

Istanbul employees had a pleasant time at the New Year events
This year, we held our traditional New Year parties at Serafina Kemer Country Club. The events were held on 16 and 18 December with the participation of Istanbul Airport and Vadistanbul headquarters employees. In the events, where we celebrated the arrival of the new year with enthusiasm, our colleagues enjoyed the natural atmosphere of Kemerburgaz and the performance of DJ Ali Sayar. At the end of both nights, ATU executives celebrated the New Year with their teams by cutting the 2025 cake.

Ankara team had fun at the new year party
Our Ankara operation held New Year parties on December 10-12 with the participation of ATU executives and Ankara employees. They had a pleasant time with live music at the events. A new year cake was cut at the end of the night.

Tip Story Our Microlearning project received another award
Our Tip Story Micro Learning Project, designed to support the product knowledge development of our employees at Old Bazaar stores, has won the Silver award in the “Best Advance in Education Delivered Through Technology” category at the Brandon Hall Technology & EdTech Excellence Awards 2024! Previously honored with two prestigious awards from the Brandon Hall HCM Excellence Awards and the Stevie Awards for Great Employers, our project has now achieved its third accolade, further solidifying its international success. ATU Duty Free, we are incredibly proud to be recognized once again for this project, which enhances our employees’ learning experience. We attended the launch of Riga Airport's 50th anniversary book
The opening event for the 50th anniversary book published by the Latvian Aviation Association (LAA) within the scope of the 50th anniversary of RIX Riga Airport was held at the VIP Centre of Riga International Airport with the participation of TAV Airports CEO and Honorary Consul of the Latvian Republic in Istanbul Serkan Kaptan; ATU Duty Free CEO Ersan Arcan; ATU Latvia Operations Director and the Member of LAA Board Tamer Cigeroglu; Chairperson of the Executive Board and CEO of Riga International Airport Laila Odina; Member of the Riga Airport Board and co-author of the book Arturs Saveljevs. The book covers the rich history and achievements of Riga Airport.

Gazipaşa team closed the season with a dinner
Gazipaşa team had a dinner to celebrate the end of the successful season and to relieve stress. The 3 colleagues who made the highest sales during the year were given gifts while relaxing from the season with music.

We visited Anıtkabir together with TAV Group
ATU team participated once again in the annual trip to Anıtkabir this year, joining colleagues from TAV and affiliated companies to pay their respects to our ancestor Atatürk. The program began with breakfast after arrival in Ankara, followed by visits to the First and Second Parliament. At Anıtkabir, our team attended the military ceremony, laid a wreath at the mausoleum, and observed a moment of silence. TAV Airports CEO Serkan Kaptan signed the Anıtkabir Honor Book and shared his message on this special occasion. The tour program was completed by departing to the regions by buses.

We renewed our GreenStars certification this year by extending it to our Türkiye operations
In line with ATU’s sustainability efforts, under the leadership of our Management Systems and Sustainability department, we were awarded the GreenStars Certificate as a result of the audits conducted by Yıldız Technical University and TÜV Austria independent auditing firm covering our operations in Türkiye and our headquarters. The GreenStars certificate we received for our Istanbul operation last year was renewed this year by extending it to all our operations in Türkiye. The certificate was presented to CBSO and Executive Committee Member Pınar Şener Harput and Management Systems&Sustainability Director Murat Şen, at a ceremony. We congratulate all our colleagues who contributed.

We set off in pursuit of goodness at the Istanbul Marathon again this year. As TAV Group companies, we participated in the 46th Istanbul Marathon this year to support the “There is Youth in this Run” project of the Community Volunteers Foundation.

We celebrated the Teachers’ Day of our valuable internal trainers who contribute to our development by sharing their knowledge and experience. We presented them with a small gift to thank them for their efforts. Thank you once again for being part of our learning and development journey.

Ethics and Compliance Seminar was organized
As a result of the work carried out by the Compliance, Risk Management and Internal Control departments under the Ethics and Compliance directorate, a Risk & Compliance seminar was held on October 10-11 with Risk & Compliance officers from 5 different countries where we operate as ATU. The seminar was ATU’s first experience seminar in this field.
