Our operation began at Antalya Airport
We are thrilled to announce the opening of our new stores at our latest operation point, Antalya Airport. Following the inauguration ceremony of the new International Terminal, our stores were officially opened with a ribbon-cutting by Enes Çakmak, Chairman of the Board and General Manager of DHMİ, along with our management team. In the newly expanded International Terminal (T2), we are proud to be present with our main duty free store, as well as our Luxury Square and Old Bazaar concepts. Congratulations to all ATU teams who contributed to the project and did an outstanding job.

ATU celebrated its 14th anniversary in Latvia
Our Riga team celebrated the 14th anniversary of our Latvia operation with events and colourful surprises. As part of the celebrations, Riga employees were greeted with a warm birthday card and balloons at their desk in the morning and were served coffee and croissants. The 14th anniversary cake was cut during the celebration. In addition, to make this meaningful day even more memorable, a special coffee was designed for ATU in a coffee shop at the airport. ATU coffee, which could be bought by passengers as well as employees, was on the menu for a week specially for the anniversary.

We were in Uludağ with the children of ATU and their families during the ski season
The ski and snowboard training program, sponsored by ATU Duty Free, took place in Bursa Uludağ between February 6-9 this year. Our children, who took lessons for 4 hours a day with the trainings given by Çiçek Güney/Joy of Athletics, received medals, certificates and gifts at the ceremony held at the end of the program. This year, children also had fun with movie sessions, sculpture and candle workshops in the time left over from ski training. We also continued to support simultaneous trainings organized in Kayseri Erciyes to encourage children to participate in sports.

Our Latvia operation selected as ‘2025 Customer Service Ambassador’
RIX Riga Airport has been honored ATU Latvia as its ‘2025 Customer Service Ambassador’. The certificate was presented to our Latvia Operations Director Tamer Ciğeroğlu at a ceremony organised by RIX. In addition, the ‘Sales Point Employee of the Year in Customer Service’ award was presented to our colleague Kārlis Briedis from the Latvia team.

We met with new graduates and students at GÜNKAF 25’
With the support of the Presidential Human Resources Office and hosted by Akdeniz University, we took part in the region's most comprehensive career event, the Southern Career Fair (GÜNKAF 25), which was held at Antalya Mimar Sinan Congress Center on 24-25 February this year. More than 60,000 students and graduates from eight universities participated in this major event, where the Human and Culture department teams informed young talents about career opportunities at ATU.

ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management certificate
As a result of the ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management Certificate External Audit conducted by Vericert Certification, a certification body approved by TÜRKAK, within the framework of Occupational Health and Safety activities, we received a certificate for our headquarters and all our domestic operations (Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir,Bodrum, Alanya-Gazipaşa, Galataport and Antalya Operations). Our certificate was handed over by Vericert General Manager Fuad Almeman in a ceremony.

The new concept of our promo area in Latvia was the Oscar-winning film Flow
The promo area at Riga Airport has been renewed with the concept of the Latvian-produced 'Flow: A Cat's Journey', which won the award for best animated feature film at the Oscars. The promo area attracted great interest after the film crew, who were farewelled by the ATU Riga team for the Oscars, returned from the Academy Awards with Latvia's first Oscar. Throughout March, special Flow film-themed products, ranging from clothing to coloring books, puzzles, and games, were featured in our promo area.

Our Gazipaşa operation came together for iftar dinner
Operation managers and sales teams attended the dinner, and the employees enjoyed a pleasant evening before the season.

Our International Women's Day gifts were organised for the empowerment of productive women again this year
In order to support women’s labour and contribute to an equal future, we celebrated this special day by presenting the gifts we received from Nahıl, the economic enterprise of the Foundation for the Evaluation of Women’s Labour, to our women colleagues at the headquarters and all our operations. We are happy to contribute to the economic empowerment efforts of productive women in 2025 too as we do every year, through all our female employees at ATU.

Our Georgia operation celebrated International Women's Day with flowers
As part of the International Women's Day celebrations, the Georgia team coloured this special day by distributing flowers to all woman passengers.

In Izmir, our women employees had a pleasant time at the Bowling Tournament
Our Izmir operation organised a Bowling Tournament for its woman employees to celebrate International Women’s Day. The champions of the tournaments held on 5 and 7 March on two different days; in the 5 March group, 1st Dicle Andıç, 2nd Merve Dayangaç, 3rd Hilal Sipahi and in the 7 March group, 1st Esra Kocagöncü, 2nd Büşra Yozgat, 3rd Beyza Nur Uzunöz. While medals were presented to our colleagues who ranked in the tournament, shopping gift vouchers were given to the first winners of the tournaments.

Special Events Organized in Riga for International Women's Day
Our Riga operation organised a breakfast and cinema event for its woman employees on International Women’s Day. Employees were welcomed with flowers at the breakfast organisation prepared with well-care. Our woman colleagues in Riga also had a pleasant time at the cinema event.

Eid gifts were distributed to ATU employees
For Eid al-Fitr, we delivered Eid gifts to our colleagues in all our domestic operations and Headquarters. We wish the all ATU family a happy Eid.

As part of Ramadan month, we met with our Istanbul Airport employees for sahur
Organised on 24 and 26 March in two separate groups, the sahur meetings were held at Tadında Anadolu restaurant with the participation of our night shift colleagues and executives.

Tunisia team came together at iftar dinner
Our Tunisia operation organised an iftar dinner with the participation of employees and executives. The teams met at the iftar dinner organised at The Greenport restaurant located at Enfidha-Hammamet Airport.

Orientation Trainings Held for New Teams in Antalya
For our colleagues who work in our operation at Antalya Airport, orientation trainings were held at Club Hotel Sera with the contributions of our internal trainers, store management teams and our People and Culture team.

Certificates presented to ATU employees with the 'Highest Sales Achievement
Certificates of appreciation were presented to our employees who achieved the highest sales success in our Old Bazaar and Boutiques operation in 2024. We congratulate all our colleagues who received high-performance certificates for their outstanding performance.
