Can you introduce yourself? What is your name and surname? Ateş Cem Öncel What is your role at ATU Duty Free and what do you do in this role? I work as a Sales Specialist at ATU Duty Free Gazipaşa Operation. I help our guests leave our store satisfied by guiding them through the ATU Style Customer Experience, ensuring they enjoy a unique ATU experience. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be and why? I would like to live in the UK. As someone who loves soccer, it would be great to live in the “cradle of football”. Is there a characteristic you would like to change about yourself? Why? Rather than changing something, I would like to develop more self-confidence. Because then I would have the chance to show the other side more clearly what I can do. What is your favorite feature of yourself that you are most proud of? Being able to empathize. What is your greatest fear in life? Losing people that I have. Is there a talent you wish you had? I would like to be able to read the minds of those in front of me, to be able to read their thoughts. Who is your favorite historical hero, from the past or present? Mustafa Kemal ATATÜRK What qualities do you most value in a friend? Respect. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be and why? I wish I could take more risks. Because I don't think I can grow without taking risks. What is your favorite activity to do in your free time? I enjoy spending time on the game console whenever I get the chance. What is your biggest regret in life? I have absolutely no regrets. Because I believe that if something happened or didn't happen, there was a reason for it. Can you share with us the place and time where you felt the happiest? Without a doubt, the time I spend at home with my son is the happiest time and place in my life. Do you have a slogan or motto that has motivated you throughout your life? “The greatest victory in life is not never falling, but getting back up every time you fall.”
