We opened our new Tissot pop up store at Istanbul Airport

The products from the most popular collections of the brand are offered for sale in the Tissot store, which is located on an area of 72 square meters in Zone 4 at the Istanbul Airport International Terminal. The pop-up store, which stands out with its lighting and interior design, also has an enjoyable experience area where you can shoot baskets at the digital game console.


We organized sahur organizations at Istanbul Airport

As part of the Ramadan, sahur organizations were organized for our employees working at Istanbul Airport. In the organizations held with the participation of our CEO Ersan Arcan and our executives Zeynep Kaptan, Pınar Şener Harput, Güliz Haymanalı, Mesut Akbaş and Ayhan Zaimoğulları, our night shift operations teams came together at Tadında Anadolu Restaurant.


ATU Ethics and Compliance Awareness Program trainings has been continuing

ATU Ethics and Compliance Awareness Program trainings were also held in the Istanbul operation. A total of 432 employees have attended the trainings so far.


Ski and Snowboard event was held sponsored by ATU

Our Ski and Snowboard event, sponsored by ATU Duty Free and in cooperation with Çiçek Güney Sports Club, to encourage children and young people to do sports, was held on Erciyes Mountain in Kayseri this year as well. Free ski and snowboard trainings were given for two weeks to the children of our employees and children in the region who participated in the event. At the end of the program, medals and certificates were presented to the children who participated in the training, where ski and snowboard lessons were given to the groups aged 6-20, including beginner, intermediate and advanced levels.


ATU Riga celebrates its 12th anniversary

Our Riga operation celebrated its 12th anniversary by cutting a cake with its employees.


A farewell ceremony was held on the last day of our Medina operation

All employees who have made valuable contributions to our Medina operation since 2015 were presented with plaques of appreciation and certificates at the farewell ceremony. At the ceremony, a lunch was also held after the gifts given by Medina employees to Operations Deputy General Manager Ali Öztekin, Strategy and Business Development Deputy General Manager Ahmet Kötehne, Strategy and Business Development Director Ali Sağlam, and Medina Operation Manager Ali Zan.
‘The Activity Area’ opened in Riga was renewed with the concept of spring

Our Riga operation has renewed its pop up store, which was opened as a winter activity area in the past months and designed in different concepts by changing every 3 months, with a spring concept. The new interior design of our pop-up store, which welcomes passengers with the motto "Take Riga with You", reflects the arrival and vitality of the spring months with green tones and lighting details. In the 27 square meter store; there are many brands in different categories from cosmetics, beverages and local products to perfumes.
We donated to KEDV on March 8, Women's Day

As part of Women's Day, we donated to the project carried out by the Foundation for the Support of Women's Work (KEDV) in cooperation with women's cooperatives in 10 cities affected by the earthquake, guesthouses in Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa and Mardin, and women-children centers on behalf of our female ATU employees. Certificates regarding the donations made to support our children and women affected by the earthquake were delivered to our female employees on 8 March. In addition, flowers were presented to our female ATU employees and to all women visiting our store in our domestic and international operations.
We reached the earthquake zone with our aid vehicles and support activities

After the earthquake disaster in our country, we activated our support activities to the region as soon as possible. With our ATU aid vehicles; we delivered materials such as food, blankets, generators, gasoline, hygiene kits, baby diapers, thermal underwear, socks, toys, paint sets, mini refrigerators to the earthquake-affected areas in and around Hatay Altınözü Municipality. We donated 1 Million TL to AFAD. We doubled the resource generated by the aid campaign we started and transferred it to the 'ATU Our Future is Our Youth Fund', which we established in cooperation with the Turkish Education Foundation. All the supports we have provided through the fund have started to be used for one-year education expenses of TEV scholarship holders located in earthquake zones. ‘ATU Our Future is Our Youth Fund’, which we have established, will also continue to be the light to support the education of more young people and our children in the earthquake region by creating social benefits with regular donations to be made on behalf of ATU members. In addition, blankets, thermal underwear, socks, toys and paint sets were delivered to earthquake survivor children and their families in Adıyaman through local collaborations. Coordination was established for food support to aid vehicles going from Antalya Airport to Hatay, and for the first time to send supplies and supplies to the villages of Gülderen Village and Camuz Barracks in Hatay. Generator support was provided to the rescue teams in Hatay. Within the scope of volunteering activities, we participated in the production of daily food packages prepared for earthquake victims at BTA's Cakes&Bakes factory with volunteers from our Istanbul employees. The families of our employees working at ATU, living in the center and villages of the region, were also provided with basic supplies such as blankets, generators and gasoline. To the families of our employees whose houses were destroyed in the earthquake or who were evacuated to other cities because they were uninhabitable; along with food-clothing aids, hygiene kits and medicine were sent.
The expansion project of our Luxury Square store has been completed

We expanded our multi-brand concept Luxury Square store at Istanbul Airport and added new world brands to our portfolio. Located in Zone 5 on the departures floor, Luxury Square started to offer services with 24 different brands in an area of 1263 square meters with the expansion. In Luxury Square; Burberry, Kenzo, Givenchy, Loewe, Stella McCartney, Alexander McQueen, Chloé, Marc Jacobs, Off-White and Palm Angels, Lanvin, Autry, MM6, Acne, On Running, Axel Argiato, Tod's, Versace, 04651 Trip in a Bag, Vetements, Thom Browne, Casablanca and Zegna brands’ most popular collections are included.
We took our place at the Inspiring Women Career Summit

The Inspiring Women's Summit, organized in scope of International Women's Day, brought together women leaders from different sectors between 8-10 March. ATU Chief Business Support Officer Pınar Şener Harput was among the speakers at the career summit that the first two days were online and the last day is at Maslak Kolektif House with great interest. 3rd and 4th grade students and recent graduates from the faculties of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Engineering, and Sciences of universities attended to the event. Harput gave information about his personal career journey, human resources approach at ATU and the sector, and answered the questions of students.
ATU employees had a pleasant time with the 80's 90's Knowledge Contest

While our employees had fun with the 80s and 90s online quiz, they competed to be ranked. Our employees, who went on a nostalgic journey and answered questions from music, movies and different categories specific to the period, competed to give both the right and the fastest answer. In the competition; Human Resources Supervisor Leyla Batat from our Ankara operation was third with 2655 points, Architectural & Constructional Affairs Coordinator Mert Soyel was second with 2682 points, Architecture & Construction Affairs Supervisor Merve Babalı Seçkin was the champion with 2698 points.
Gazipaşa celebrated its 10th anniversary

Our Gazipaşa - Alanya operation celebrated its 10th anniversary by cutting a cake with its employees.
ATU Riga hosted the event organized by AmCham

Organized by the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) under the title of 'RIX Airport City: Airport of Tomorrow', the event brought together the leading leaders of the industry in Latvia hosted by our Riga operation. Riga Airport CEO Laila Odina and ATU Latvia Operations Director Tamer Ciğeroğlu took part as speakers at the event held at Riga Airport VIP Center and attended by approximately 45 VIP guests. Odina gave information about the future projection of the airport. Tamer Ciğeroğlu spoke about the challenges on the competition and sustainability approach in today’s uncertain times.
