The Runtalya Marathon was held under ATU sponsorship this year
This year, we proudly sponsored the 21st Runtalya Marathon, held between April 3-5, an event that has truly become an international symbol of Antalya. We were thrilled to be part of this long-standing organization, which transformed into a massive sports festival welcoming over 10,000 sports enthusiasts from 82 countries across different categories, including 5K, 10K, 21K, and 42K. Taking our place among the runners alongside our Antalya operations team, we shared the immense excitement on the field, bringing endless energy and a strong team spirit to this three-day event.

Orientation Training Program Completed in Antalya
Our orientation training program, held at the Mimar Sinan Congress Center in Antalya between March 23–26, was successfully completed with the participation of ATU teams from our duty-free and boutiques. We came together with our new teammates in a comprehensive program ranging from recruitment processes and sales styles to OHS, product training, and dynamic activities. By meeting with our Operations Management and People&Culture teams, our new colleagues took their first steps into ATU’s strong team culture.

Iftar and Sahur events were held across our operations
Throughout the month of Ramadan, our teams at different locations continue to meet at Iftar (fast-breaking dinner) and Sahur (pre-dawn meal) tables. In Tunisia, Iftar dinners were held at Enfidha-Hammamet Airport and our Monastir Habib Bourguiba operations with the participation of teams and executives. Additionally, our colleagues and regional executives came together at Sahur events held in our Ankara and Antalya operations.

The Izmir team organized a special bowling tournament for International Women's Day
Our Izmir operation organized a Bowling Tournament with the participation of women employees to celebrate International Women’s Day. Vicdan Kahraman was crowned champion of the tournament, which was attended by 40 women employees, while Melek Savcı came in second and Büşra Yozgat came in third. Medals and gift certificates were presented to our colleagues who placed in the tournament.

We celebrated March 8th, International Women's Day
It is our greatest pride to walk alongside our female colleagues, who draw their strength from their hard work and their inspiration from their achievements. We are happy to continue our collaborations with non-governmental organizations, which we proudly maintain every year to support women's solidarity. To stand by our local producers on this International Women's Day, we delivered the jewelry box gifts we prepared in collaboration with the social platform Kadınların Elinden to our colleagues.

March 8th was also celebrated with special surprises across our international operations
In our Kazakhstan, Georgia, and North Macedonia operations, we shared the joy of March 8th, International Women's Day, with both our customers and our women colleagues. We brightened the day for customers visiting our stores with flowers. Special surprises were also prepared for our women colleagues who make us stronger. In Kazakhstan, chocolate-covered strawberries and spa coupons, in Georgia flower bouquets and accessories, and in Macedonia, flower bouquets, massage, and spa coupons were gifted to our colleagues.

We met with our operations teams at Istanbul Airport during sahur
As part of Ramadan month, we came together with our Istanbul Airport employees for sahur (pre-dawn meal). Organised on 3 and 5 March in two separate groups, the sahur gatherings meetings were held at Tadında Anadolu restaurant with the participation of our night shift colleagues and executives.

Riga employees participated in a fun activity called the 'Fitness Challenge'
Our Riga operation participated in the 2026 Fitness Challenge, organized to promote an active and healthy lifestyle, by pedaling in a fun competition. The first place winner was Mareks Matesa and the second place winner was Ilze Jumike Riga. Competitions will be held on fitness bikes placed in different department areas at the Riga office, and the winners for each month will be determined.

Two Important Awards from Riga Airport to ATU Duty Free
At the “Customer Service Ambassador 2026” awards organized by Riga Airport (RIX); Angelika Mikulova, serving as the Sisley Brand Ambassador in our Riga operation, was awarded “Retail Employee of the Year in Customer Service” for her outstanding performance. Additionally, our Promo Zone area, which is constantly refreshed with up-to-date concepts in line with the latest trends, was presented with a special recognition certificate for its contribution to the customer experience.

We expanded our Antalya T2 South Store
We expanded our Gate Area South store, located on the departures floor of Antalya Airport Terminal 2, and reintroduced it to our customers. By increasing our store space to 250 square meters, we created a much more spacious and modern shopping environment. We would like to thank once again to all our colleagues who contributed to our newly renovated store, where we have started welcoming passengers with our core duty-free product selection.

15th Anniversary Award from TAV Latvia to ATU Riga
In honor of our 15th year of operations at Riga Airport, a special award was presented to our ATU Riga team by TAV Latvia to commemorate this successful milestone. Our President and CEO Ersan Arcan, and Latvia Operation Director Tamer Ciğeroğlu, received the award from TAV Latvia Country Director Hakan Uzunosmanoğlu. We are delighted to receive this award as a symbol of our continuous operational success in Riga for over fifteen years, and the great effort and dedication of each and every one of our employees.

The second half performance awards in Ankara have found their winners
The most successful colleagues in our Ankara operation have been determined as a result of the second half performance evaluations covering the July - December period of the past year. Certificates of appreciation and gift vouchers were presented to a total of 9 colleagues who ranked in the top three by showing outstanding success in the Sales, Service, and Cashier categories.

A Refreshing Break in Our Riga Operation
Our colleagues in Riga enjoyed a wonderful Wellness Day. With 20-minute massage therapy sessions provided by experts from a professional center throughout the day, the Riga team had the perfect opportunity to take a short break and recharge from their daily routine.

ATU at the Peak of the Mountain Again This Ski Season
We were in Uludağ again this year with our traditional ski and snowboard training program, which we organize every winter season. The ski and snowboard trainings, held under our sponsorship for the children of our employees, took place between February 6-8. Our children received training from the Çiçek Güney Sports Club and were presented with medals, certificates, and gifts at a ceremony held at the end of the program. In the time remaining from the ski lessons, the children had fun in theater and ceramics workshops.

Our Riga operation celebrated its 15th anniversary
Our teams organized a celebration event to mark the 15th anniversary of our duty-free operation at Riga Airport. The 15th-anniversary celebration, which featured a cake-cutting ceremony, included the presentation of certificates of appreciation to our colleagues who have been with us for over 10 years.

Ethics and Compliance Awareness training completed with our Antalya teams
We have successfully completed the ATU Ethics and Compliance Awareness Training, held between January 13–15 in our Antalya operation, with the participation of 634 colleagues. Together, we are building the future on the foundation of our ethical values.

Our support for students continues through the TEV “Our Youth is Our Future” Scholarship Fund
We are proud to mark the 3rd year of the “ATU Our Youth is Our Future Scholarship Fund,” created in partnership with TEV to promote equal opportunity in education. So far, we’ve had the joy of lighting up the dreams of 15 earthquake-affected students by covering their educational expenses.
