Can you introduce yourself? What is your name and surname? My name is Azwa Rafeek. I am a BA graduate in Psychology and Criminology. What is your role at ATU Duty Free and what do you do in this role? I work at ATU Duty Free as a Cashier & Payment Consultant. I am a responsible employee who assists passengers with their needs and makes sure they are satisfied. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be and why? New York City. It has always been my dream to travel to NYC, as there are a lot of opportunities and amazing things I want to experience. Is there a characteristic you would like to change about yourself? Why? Yes. I believe I can improve many aspects of myself. I’m trying to be more confident and to improve my communication skills, which are a very important part of an individual’s personality. What is your favorite feature of yourself that you are most proud of? Being kind. I’m a person who always makes everyone around me feel good and happy. What is your greatest fear in life? My greatest fear in life has always been death, losing the people I love, and not having enough time to experience everything life has to offer. Is there a talent you wish you had? Honestly, art. Painting, singing, dancing, and other art-related activities are among my favourite hobbies, and I wish I were more talented in them. Who is your favorite historical hero, from the past or present? My favourite historical hero is Bhagat Singh. I have always respected and admired his courage, sacrifice, and conviction. What qualities do you most value in a friend? I value their honesty, kindness, and loyalty. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be and why? I would want to change my overthinking and my insecurities, as they sometimes affect my confidence and hold me back in certain situations. What is your favorite activity to do in your free time? My favorite activities are Singing and Dancing. I always find time to dance a little and sing every single day. What is your biggest regret in life? Not believing in myself enough and being afraid of making the wrong choices in certain situations. Can you share with us the place and time where you felt the happiest? It was definitely on my 20th birthday when I was back in Bangalore. Do you have a slogan or motto that has motivated you throughout your life? “Success is a journey, not a destination.”
