Dear Colleagues,

As we are in the last quarter of 2023, we are pleased to have successfully completed the work we have accomplished together throughout the year and excited about the new projects we are taking the first steps towards in 2024. This year, despite the economic difficulties in our country and around the world, we had a productive period in which we adapted to the trends and variables of the new era thanks to our agile organizational structure. In this sense, we continue on our way as a transforming, developing and learning structure in which we refresh our vision. Dynamism is in our "DNA".

With rapidly developing digital technologies, the differentiation of the habits of Generation Y and the participation of Generation Z in this equation, we are all experiencing a transformation in both our daily lives and our business processes. Personalized services, strengthening the bond we establish with our customers in a meaningful story, and most importantly, sustainability topics that take into account the social and ecological balance of our world have become essential for every sector were on our agenda this year.

In addition to expanding our operation network to a new location with Dalaman Airport, we continued to improve our services by realizing our planned expansion projects and new brand collaborations in our duty free stores, such as Tbilisi Airport in 2023. On the other hand, we shaped our training and development programs in line with the developments in our sector, and we designed various platforms and tools within the framework of digital transformation. We will soon launch the mobile application, the second phase of our ATU Digital project, which we have launched on the web, where you can perform your business processes safely and swiftly.

We have designed ATU's future projection to raise awareness of sustainability and transform the way we do business with this awareness. We established the Management Systems and Sustainability Department to make the projects we have carried out so far more systematic and effective. Our activities are progressing to realize our work in this area in line with global standards. As part of our recent sustainability efforts, we were awarded GreenStars certification through joint audits conducted by Yıldız Technical University and TÜV Avusturia. I am proud to say that this certificate, which can only be obtained after a detailed audit, is an indication that our practices, which we focus on achieving quality business outputs, are successful and that we are on the right track. From including more environmentally friendly products in our stores to supporting local suppliers, waste management, energy emission, social responsibility projects, sustainable business solutions, digitalization and innovation, these topics will be on our agenda as priority issues in 2024. We have a long way to go and much work to do. On this path, we never forget our values that shed light on us; Taking Responsibility, Providing Outstanding Service, Respecting Differences, Possesing a Fighting Spirit, Cooperation and Solidarity, Development of Self and Others, Innovation.

In addition, we continue to receive feedback from our ATU cultural ambassadors in our focus groups with our Time for Change 2.0 project and we continue our efforts to sustain the culture of happiness we have created with the research results shaped by the comments of you, who have chosen us as the Great Place to Work in the GPTW survey two years in a row.

ATU Duty Free is more than just an important brand in the sector, it is a company that has internalized its values and has a story with its own unique culture. I would like to thank you, who have the biggest share in the happy ATÜ culture that we have built and sustained together. I also congratulate you for your successful performance and devoted efforts throughout the year. I believe that we will reach new heights together in 2024 with even greater goals.
